Everybody has a story, and our lives provide fertile ground for writing and storytelling.
Our MCA summer session 1 course, THE ART OF PERSONAL NARRATIVE, will use first person and personal experience — in the form of essays, blogging, narrative journalism and photography — to improve storytelling skills, build writing proficiency and stamina and analyze and deconstruct contemporary media critics and contributors. You will share your work in a supportive and constructive workshop environment as you build confidence, learn to promote stories via social media and explore self-expression through writing.
